Artwork Story: Inspired by a beautiful pair of Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos catching the last of the light just before sunset. I’d been observing this pair over a few days while in my favourite woodlands in the south west of WA. The connection between these two was special. It looked like they were always keeping an eye out on each other, making sure they were both ok. I wanted this piece to represent the bonds we share with those who are special to us, the ones that just make everything ok no matter the situation. Your safe place, where the connection is unquestionable. I hope when you look at this you think of those special connections.
