Artwork Story: Inspired by the beautiful Rainbow Bee Eaters. I never get sick of watching these colours soar gracefully through the sky, whether it's up in Broome in the dry season as they prepare for breeding, or when they migrate south for the summer and show up in all my favourite forests. I always wonder if it's the same ones I see year round. The reference photos used for this piece were captured whilst over looking Cable Beach from the Dunes, on a hot day in August 2024, as a pair were watching each other glide back and forth to the same branch, catching 'beak-fulls' of bugs, almost as if they were comparing what they caught. 
Painting is A3 size + Frame, completed in July 2025 with acrylic on paper.
