Artwork Story: This painting was a study piece, inspired by a pair of Spotted Pardalotes I'd watched over a couple of damps winter days in the Dryandra Woodlands during mating season this year. The male was doing his very best trying to impress the female by chasing her around and showing off with his mating display and beautiful songs.
Original Painting was a 20x20cm, completed in August 2023 with acrylic on canvas.
